Do you ever want a warm, gooey cookie but don't want to go through all the work to make a whole batch of cookies just for yourself? This single serve chocolate chip cookie recipe is perfect for you and is made in the microwave so you don't even have to preheat your oven! It comes together in one bowl and under 5 minutes. It technically makes two large cookies but two cookies are always better than one! The cookies are crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle. They are the perfect size and exactly what I mean when I say I only want one cookie.
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
6 tbsp all purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp chocolate
Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together.
Add in one egg yolk and stir together.
Mix in the flour.
Stir in 3 tbsp chocolate. We chopped up a candy bar and added some m&m's. You can also add in chocolate chips or nuts.
Once everything is mixed in split the dough into two parts and roll them into balls. Microwave on seperate plates for 1 minutes.
Let them cool and sprinkle on some flaky salt. Enjoy!
