Garlic Bread and Pizza are two of the best things in the world, so you know you are going to love this fun twist that has both of them in one recipe. It's made with store-bought pizza dough and tastes extraordinary with some marinara to dip in. It's the perfect appetizer to serve with our Grilled Chicken Alfredo Pasta or another dish of your choice. It's also just a fun family pizza night activity!
Pizza dough
Shredded cheddar
8 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp parsley
Parmesan
Roll out three strips of store bought or homemade pizza dough. Each piece should be about 1 cup.
Fill each strip with shredded cheddar cheese.
Fold the edges up and press together to close. (Watch video for clarification)
Press all three strips together at the top and braid the rest together, overlapping each other.
Melt 8 tbsp butter with 2 crushed garlic cloves, 2 tsp parsley, and a pinch of salt.
Coat the braid with the garlic butter and top with parmesan cheese before baking at 400° F for 20 minutes.
Serve with marinara sauce!
