4TH OF JULY MILKSHAKE

️🕒Ready in  15 minutes

👥Serves 2 people.

I like to think there is no one in this world who would pass up a thick, creamy milkshake. It's so important to know the how to make the perfect milkshake because messing up the ratio of milk to ice cream will either make your milkshake too thin of too thick, and no one wants that. Milkshakes are the perfect drink year round, but we made this for a fun 4th of July drink. We used different colors and flavors to make ours 4th of July themed but you can leave them out for a classic vanilla smoothie. You can also switch up the flavor of ice cream or the flavor of milk for different milkshakes flavors. The possibilities are endless and so delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • Full-Fat Vanilla Ice Cream

  • Whole Milk

  • Food Coloring (Red and Blue)

  • Cherry Flavoring

  • Blue Raspberry Flavoring

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend together 1 cup of vanilla ice cream, ⅓ cup of milk, a few drops of red food coloring, and cherry flavoring.

  2. Pour into a glass till it's almost halfway full.

  3. Blend together ice cream and milk without any flavoring or coloring. Layer on top of the red milkshake till the glass is just a little over halfway full.

  4. Blend together 1 cup of vanilla ice cream, ⅓ cup of milk, a few drops of blue food coloring, and blue raspberry flavoring.

  5. Fill the glass till the top. Add whipped cream on top. Feel free to add any toppings you want. We used blue sugar. Don’t forget the cherry on top!
